One of your favorite holidays is Passover because it means you get to have dinner with your friends and family (and drink lots of really sweet wine). Passovers since your son was born have been even better, although you have to eat very quickly and bring lots of stickers. This Passover he was old enough to "search" for the Afikomen and for his trouble he received a train whistle which he very much enjoyed blowing. He made a gefilte fish sculpture which would be right at home in a modern art gallery and ate far too many coconut covered marshmallows.
Sometimes having a small immediate family is lonely, but big holiday meals make you feel warm and cozy and remind you how many people in your life care for you and support you. And Pesach is all about giving thanks for our blessings.
