Your husband is an excellent dad. It delights you to watch him interact with your son. He is so patient and kind, more patient and kinder than you are, which is probably how he's stayed with you all these years!
Every night before your son's bedtime you do storytime. Your husband and your son curl up into bed and read as many stories as your son can fit in before we all realize it's a big scam to avoid sleep. You find it funny to watch your husband read so animatedly, when the only books he really likes to read are computer manuals and business books. But for your son he'll suffer though Dr. Suess and Curious George with a smile on his face and a bounce in his voice. Your son nestles into the crook of his arm and the whole scene really makes you feel warm and snuggly inside.
