And it begins with boredom. The Rock of Love Reunion is over. Brett Michaels has taken home his skankyladylove and his bountiful hair extensions and gone back on his tour of state fairs and regional donut shop openings. You're waiting until Lost comes back (damn writer strike) and since you're trying to lose weight for the fifty thousandth time this month the fridge is off limits.
Your mind starts to wander and as you sit vacantly at your computer screen you wonder, "Whatever happened to so and so?" You do this on a semi-regular basis, usually in the car or at 4am when you're suffering from insomnia, but on this day you decide to actually reach out and virtually touch someone. You decide to make contact!
It's pretty neat. One minute you haven't seen or talked to someone for ten years and the next minute it's like, "Oh, hey! You have 4.2 kids and you're listening to Run DMC right now. You are currently....eating a sandwich!" You also get to see how people have aged, which apparently is much better than you have!
You'd also love to find people you can't stand and discover that they're miserable and downtrodden, but most people don't usually advertise when they're miserable and downtrodden (except for you, you're practically infamous for being miserable and downtrodden) and so you don't find any of those people. You just discover that a lot of people you liked a long time ago are doing pretty well and are still people you'd probably like now. Which is nice.

Are you on Facebook? If so, will you write on my Superwall?
