Even though you're really not a sentimental person, just accept that seeing your dad with your son feeding the ducks and the fish at the lake is one of those awwww moments that should be captured in time.
Your son adores your dad. He calls him Papa, and he gets excited every time he hears, "We're going to Papa's house." In fact, he doesn't seem to know that Grandma also lives in that house. Grandma must live in some ethereal place on a bed of marshmallows, crackers and funny plastic hats.
Your father enjoys the things that bore the hell out of you. Long after you'd have been done with the fish and ducks, he and your son are both still happy to keep throwing and eating the stale bread. You check your iphone on a bench and wait for them, but it is charming. It's hard not to find it sweet.
Afterwards, the three of you stumble upon a baseball game and your father buys your son peanuts. He likes the peanuts better than the game and tries to stuff them in his mouth whole. Your dad teaches him the art of shelling peanuts, and your son shouts YEAH every time a batter hits the ball, regardless of which team the batter's on. You grab his arms and dance him to the music when someone scores.

It's one of those delightful days you're embarrassed to admit you like. It's all one step away from hokey, but who said hokey can't be fun. It's nice that your son brings you and your father together.
Try this at home:
What's your relationship with your dad like?
