In the water as a kid, they stung you. One day at Sandbridge they stung you bad and you hopped out of the water grimacing. Someone once told you to pee on a Jelly sting to make the hurt go away, but that seems kind of gross. Is it true?
Under the murky water, Jellies are scary. You can't see them and they might get you at any time. But here in the well-lit aquarium, behind the glass, they are beautiful mindless creatures undulating and bobbing through their tank. The lighting highlights their colors of cloudy glowing pink and white. They suck in an out, up and down, little mushrooms with thin, wavy tentacles dancing through the water.
They're so graceful. Practically water ballerinas. It's hard to believe they can be so dangerous.
Try this at home:
What sea creatures do you find beautiful?

That is an amazingly beautiful picture. Walking over the bridge from work, I see jellyfish all the time, but never thought of them as anything but spooky undulating water ghosts.
