What a beautiful day out today! You sat outside this afternoon in your rocking chair looking up at the sky and listening to the wind in the trees. The colors of nature around you seemed crisper than usual. The greens of the trees and the grass, the blue and whites of the sky, they were all so vivid and fresh. You turned your face to the sun to feel its heat and you were happy to be alive.
Sunny spring days make you remember the ice cream truck coming around, looking for arrowheads at the creek, doing cartwheels in your friends' backyards, trampolines and the smell of barbecues in the park--all the simple joys of childhood.
