My friend told me about this fascinating article in the July issue of New York Magazine. It's about a 23 year old Jewish woman who lived in an extremely Orthodox community in New York. She left the community and has been fighting for custody of her four year old daughter.
Just as interesting as the article are the comments, many of which are written by some pissed off Orthodox Jews. It's like Jew vs. Jew! I have my personal opinions about this, but since I'm on Facebook and don't know who might be reading this I'll just keep them to myself! :)
But if you're a Jew, you might find this article really interesting.
